Ebikon: Inditex rents in Mall of Switzerland according to report
Inditex is renting 4,000 square meters in the Mall of Switzerland for "Zara" and two other of its formats. This is according to the business magazine "Bilanz".
According to a report in the business magazine "Bilanz", the Mall of Switzerland has been able to secure the fashion chain Inditex as a tenant. According to the report, several of the Spanish company's formats are moving into the shopping center, which currently has several vacant spaces. Inditex will use a total of 4,000 m² there for the "Zara", "Pull and Bear" and "Stradivarius" concepts, reports "Bilanz", citing a letter from the center management to the existing tenants. The information has not yet been confirmed. However, work has already begun on the necessary relocation of space.
The second-largest Swiss shopping center with 65,000 sqm of rentable space is said to have failed to meet expectations in terms of visitor frequency. The owner of the property near Lucerne is the sovereign wealth fund of the Emirate of Abu Dhabi. (aw)
