Wüest Partner acquires specialist for energy data
Wüest Partner acquires a majority stake in Signa-Terre, a specialist in consumption data based in western Switzerland. In addition, the joint venture Khephren is acquired.
On October 6, the Wüest Partner Group acquired a majority stake in Signa-Terre AG and 100% of Khephren AG. Founded in Geneva in 2008, Signa-Terre AG collects and processes energy consumption data from properties and provides support in the planning of refurbishment cycles. Among other things, the team of over 50 employees creates the ImmoLabel product. In recent years, a large number of Swiss real estate owners and managers have been acquired as clients, writes Wüest Partner.
Khephren AG, also founded in Geneva in 2016 and a joint venture between Signa-Terre, Acanthe and BG Ingénieurs Conseils, has developed its own platform. The SaaS application is designed to enable the intuitive review and management of the financial, technical and energy status of real estate portfolios. "While Khephren brings valuable skills to the Wüest Partner Software House, Signa-Terre provides expertise in energy consumption and environmental sustainability," it says. In combination with the Group's expertise in real estate economics and its existing sustainability, data and software expertise, far-reaching synergies are expected. In future, the range of services will extend from the analysis of energy consumption and sustainability figures to CO2-optimized maintenance strategies and strategic property and portfolio analyses.
Founders stay on board
Signa-Terre AG will continue to be managed by the two founders Laurent Isoard and Olivier Ouzilou. The brand is to be retained in the long term. Khephren AG and its employees will be seamlessly integrated into the Data, Analytics & Technology division of the Wüest Partner Group.
Andreas Bleisch, Chairman of the Board of Directors of Wüest Partner, comments: "These strategic acquisitions not only strengthen our service portfolio in the field of real estate sustainability, but also consolidate our presence in French-speaking Switzerland." (aw)
