Varia US Properties plans additional distribution
Due to the good business performance in 2022, the company intends to distribute an extraordinary dividend of CHF 3.00 per share.
The Board of Directors of Varia US Properties AG is proposing the payment of an extraordinary dividend of CHF 3.00 per share - because the US residential real estate investor's business performed so well in 2022. "Our currently available liquidity allows us to make future investments, but also to pay such an extraordinary dividend to allow our shareholders to continue to participate in our success," says Manuel Leuthold, Chairman of the Board of Directors.
The special payment is to be paid in equal parts (CHF 1.50/share) from the retained earnings and the statutory capital reserves of Varia US Properties and for the financial year ending December 31, 2022. If approved by the shareholders, the amount will be paid out on November 9 together with the next regular quarterly dividend payment of CHF 0.50.
An Extraordinary General Meeting, which will take place on November 3 at the "Haus zum Rüden" in Zurich, will decide on the special dividend. (ah)
