Bad Zurzach: Dorint takes over Parkhotel
The previously privately operated hotel in Aargau with 111 rooms will be the German hotel chain's sixth hotel in Switzerland.
The German hotel chain Dorint will operate the "Parkhotel Bad Zurzach" in the Hochrhein region of Aargau from February. A lease agreement has been concluded with the owner, a real estate fund of Credit Suisse Funds AG. The owner is planning a major investment to revitalize the hotel in order to secure its long-term operation, according to a press release.
Dorint already operates the Blüemlisalp Beatenberg/Interlaken resort in Switzerland, a hotel in Basel and a hotel at Zurich Airport. A hotel in Interlaken (opening April 2024) and the "Dorint Resort & Spa Locarno/Riazzino" (opening summer 2024) are under construction.
Previously run as a private hotel, the hotel in Bad Zurzach has 111 rooms and 13 suites, two function rooms, a restaurant with outdoor dining and a bar with lounge. There is also an indoor saltwater pool. Guests have direct access to the Zurzach thermal spa. (aw)
