SV Hotel: Real estate expert to drive expansion

Ursula Kriegl is the new Director Business Development at SV Hotel. Her focus will be on the expansion of the in-house developed Stay Kooook brand. With upcoming openings in Geneva, Leipzig, Munich and Hamburg as well as further secured locations in Germany and Switzerland, the growth of the serviced apartment operator has picked up speed since its launch in 2020 and is now to be driven forward, according to a statement from SV Hotel.

Born in Austria, Kriegl was most recently an Associate Partner at Ernst & Young Real Estate, where she was responsible for hotel transactions and advisory services. Prior to that, she worked for the JLL Hotels & Hospitality Group. Kriegl holds a Master of Management in Hospitality from Cornell University in the USA and gained her first experience in the hotel business at Marriott.

Kooook's mid- and long-stay concept increasingly focuses on the conversion of existing buildings in central city locations. The focus is on maximum space efficiency - a key issue for investors. Different room types should ensure that the space is optimally utilized depending on the property and that a competitive rent can be paid. (aw)
