Since the beginning of February 2024, the long-established company Rieter has held the keys to its new headquarters in Winterthur. The building constructed by Allreal combines the customer center, product and technology development and administration under one roof.

While work on the Rieter Campus has been completed with the handover of the keys, work on the development and marketing of the adjacent site has only just begun. Last year, Allreal acquired the 75,000 square meter industrial site directly adjacent to the Rieter Campus on Klosterstrasse. According to the developer, Rieter will continue to occupy a large part of the space on the site until the end of the year, after which it will be re-let from 2025.

According to the press release, Allreal intends to develop the site in the long term in dialog with the city of Winterthur and other stakeholders "into a modern living space with supra-regional appeal, which also makes reference to the pioneering days of the textile industry". The site is excellently developed and offers great long-term potential. (bw)
