Solothurn: Construction of the "Segetzpark" project begins
The building permit for the Previs Vorsorge residential project is legally binding, and total contractor Losinger Marazzi plans to start construction work in March.
Previs Vorsorge is building new residential space on an area of around 3,000 square meters between Wengistrasse and the extension of Poststrasse in Solothurn, supplemented with commercial space on the first floor. The "Segetzpark" project comprises two seven-storey residential and commercial buildings: the stand-alone "Segetzhaus" and the "Stadthaus" adjoining the neighboring property.
A total of 122 residential units (rental apartments for various target groups and business apartments), commercial space on the first floor, a parking garage with 60 parking spaces and numerous bicycle parking spaces are being built.
Losinger Marazzi developed the "Segetzpark" together with the architects Spreng + Partner and will realize the project as a total contractor. The building permit is now legally binding, meaning that construction work should start quickly: According to Losinger Marazzi, demolition work will begin in February, with construction scheduled to start in March. The apartments are expected to be ready for occupation in the third quarter of 2026. (ah)
