Vernier: Arab Bank invests in commercial site
The project developer Concordo wants to build on an area of 21,000 square meters for industrial and commercial companies. The first part has already been marketed, he reports.
The foundation stone for the "Quarz'up" real estate project in Vernier (GE) was laid recently. The client is Arab Bank Switzerland, the project developer is Concordo and the general contractor is Losinger Marazzi. The project promotes itself with a sustainable energy supply, green outdoor areas, a synergy-promoting environment and good accessibility. The site is intended to accommodate a variety of industrial and commercial uses. Certification in accordance with the Minergie and Well standards is being sought.
The first part of the 21,000 square meters that are to be built on has already been marketed, says Philippe Martino, Director at Concordo. In addition, there are already interested parties for the lots offered for sale for the "craft businesses" building complex, including a food manufacturer, a construction company, a furniture supplier and various craftsmen.
Low-CO2 cement is to be used in the construction of the complex. (aw)
