Zurich: Deloitte becomes main tenant in "Prime 2
Deloitte will relocate its Swiss headquarters to the "Prime 2" office and commercial building in Zurich West. The project is being built next to the "Prime Tower" and is scheduled for completion by 2020.
Welti-Furrer Immobilien AG is building "Prime 2" in the Zurich Hardbrücke business district, a new seven-story building with a total of 18,000 sqm of office space on six floors and 3,000 sqm of retail and restaurant space on the first floor. The location is characterized in particular by its proximity to Hardbrücke station, one of the busiest railroad stations in Switzerland.
Deloitte has now been confirmed as the building's main anchor tenant. With the new location, the consulting and auditing company not only wants to create space for its growth plans, but also promote flexible and innovative working methods. Deloitte says it wants to have a "lively influence" on the design of the building. An efficient layout with highly flexible space design and additional expansion possibilities are envisaged. The current location in Zurich Enge will be merged with the new one, so that all employees in Zurich are united under one roof.
From Deloitte's point of view, Zurich West is an ideal location for the new headquarters. The Hardbrücke quarter has developed into a first-class business address in recent years thanks to considerable investment in infrastructure, including leisure and catering facilities and transport links, the company says.
