Hansjörg Wyss buys Charles Vögele branches

According to entries in the land registry offices, Hansjörg Wyss has purchased 15 properties in central locations through his family office Loreda. The transaction price is according to the report of the Handelszeitung according to the report, at CHF 169 million.

The sellers of the properties are the new owners of the fashion retailer Charles Vögele, the Italian group OVS and the investors Aspen Trust and Retails Investment. According to the newspaper report, the real estate purchased by Wyss houses Charles Vögele stores, including the Charles Vögele flagship store on Sihlstrasse in Zurich. But commercial buildings and the Casino Theater in Locarno are also in the acquired portfolio.

A representative of Hansjörg Wyss confirms that Loreda has acquired part of the Charles Vögele real estate portfolio.
