Equans: Esther Denzler heads FM subsidiary
Equans Switzerland, which emerged from Bougues Energies & Services, has appointed the former CEO of energy service provider WWZ Group as the new head of its facility management services division.
Since July 2024, Bouygues Energies & Services and Equans have been united under the new umbrella brand Equans Switzerland. The company has around 6,500 employees and over 100 locations in Switzerland. The service provider has now announced a personnel change for the real estate division: Esther Denzler will become the new Managing Director of Equans Switzerland Facility Management AG and a new member of the Equans Switzerland Executive Board from September 1. Denzler holds a degree in engineering from the Swiss Federal Institute of Technology (ETH) and has held leading positions at Axpo, CKW, Primeo Energie and most recently as CEO of the Zug-based energy supplier WWZ Group. In her new position, she reports directly to Equans Switzerland CEO Claudio Picech. He has been Chairman of the Executive Board of the company since the takeover (IB reported). He praised Denzler's "sound expertise in energy issues", which would play a "particularly important role in the future development of buildings". (aw)
