Avobis is looking for a new CEO
After eight years with the company, the current CEO Sandro Sulcis is stepping down in November.
Avobis CEO Sandro Sulcis is leaving the company. According to a press release, his position will end in November. The search for a successor has been initiated, according to the statement. Sulcis joined Avobis from Julius Baer in 2016. He held various key positions and played a "significant role" in shaping the company, as the real estate company writes. Sulcis has been Co-CEO and CEO since 2020.
In spring, Avobis announced a change in strategy: the subsidiaries Centerio, Rimaplan and Verit Immobilien were sold to a group of investors led by the new Avobis owner Andrin Waldburger and the focus on the core business was announced. Verit has since been sold to Privera. Sulci's decision to step down was made "following the successful completion of the transition phase this summer", according to the Avobis statement.
"Sandro Sulcis focused on customer orientation right from the start and was able to achieve great and sustainable success," says Andrin Waldburger, investor and Chairman of the Board of Directors of Avobis. Waldburger will manage the company on an interim basis until a successor is appointed. (aw)
