In Geneva, Implenia has been entrusted by SBB Immobilien AG with further construction phases of the large Pont Rouge development in La Praille. As a total contractor, the construction company is erecting two buildings with commercial and administrative space and a parking garage with around 100 parking spaces on construction sites B4 and B5.

The project has an investment volume of around CHF 70 million and meets the sustainability standards of the DGNB Gold label. Construction work is scheduled to start in summer 2017 and take just over two years. For Implenia, this is the second major contract it has completed for SBB as part of what is currently the region's largest real estate project, after construction site B1.

UBS fund plans superstructure in Morges

Implenia is building the "Îlot sud" project near Morges South station for the UBS (CH) Property Fund - Swiss Mixed "Sima" real estate fund. The total contractor mandate includes the construction of 160 rental apartments, 5,000 sqm of space for retail and leisure activities, an underground parking garage for approximately 290 vehicles and a bicycle station with 250 parking spaces.

Implenia developed the project as part of an architectural competition together with Fehlmann Architectes/Magizan Architecture Urbanisme AG. Construction work on the CHF 90 million development will begin in October 2017 with the demolition of the existing properties. The first apartments should be ready for occupancy in 2020.
