Schroders: Roger Hennig Head of Continental Europe Real Estate

Schroders Capital Real Estate announces several personnel changes. One of these is the promotion of Roger Hennig, Head of Switzerland, to Head of Real Estate in Continental Europe.

Schroders Capital, the private markets part of the Schroders Group with assets under management of around CHF 87.4 billion, has announced significant changes in the management of its real estate business. One of the key changes is the appointment of Roger Hennig as Head of Continental Europe Real Estate, a market area comprising eight locations with assets under management of around CHF 12 billion. In this position, Hennig will remain responsible for Schroders' Swiss real estate business and will continue his role as fund manager for the Swiss real estate fund Schroder Immoplus and the Real Estate Europe Direct investment group of the Zurich Investment Foundation.

Roger Hennig brings with him extensive experience and expertise in the European real estate market, including his previous areas of responsibility in Scandinavia and Germany. In addition, he will remain a member of the Global Investment Committee and will be appointed to the Executive Committee of Schroders Capital Real Estate.

Schroders also announces that Nick Montgomery has been appointed Global Head of Real Estate, subject to regulatory approval, succeeding Sophie Van Oosterom who is taking up a new role on the client side. In addition, Kieran Farrelly will become Global Chief Investment Officer (CIO) for Real Estate. In addition, James Macnamara will assume global responsibility for value-add and alternative investments, building on his current focus as Head of Strategy, Hotels and Operating Assets. These leadership changes are part of a strategic evolution to further drive the growth of Schroders Capital's real estate business.
