The Embassies Of Good Living AG launches 1st project in Hamburg
Zurich start-up The Embassies of Good Living is launching its first "anti-ageing home" project in the Hanseatic city of Hamburg at the beginning of 2025.
The first location of The Embassies of Good Living AG (The Embassies) will open at the beginning of 2025 under the name The Embassies Hamburg City in the listed Hindenburghaus on Grosser Burstah. The Zurich-based company has signed a management agreement with Charly Ventures, a company that focuses on the development of innovative living concepts.
According to The Embassies, 45 high-quality serviced apartments are being built in the property located between the Elbphilharmonie concert hall and the historic town hall, arranged around a vertically landscaped inner courtyard. On the first floor and second floor of the Hindenburghaus, there will be a 1,200 square meter club and "well-being area" with various co-working and meeting areas, a café, bar and event location as well as a spa with sauna, gym and treatment rooms.
The Embassies has developed a new solution for retirement living that includes a digital platform and habitable rooms. According to earlier reports, the start-up is planning to set up a global network with around 30 locations - including in major cities such as Zurich, London, New York and Berlin. At The Embassies locations, residents and visitors will have access to publicly accessible catering and leisure facilities. The aim is to promote social interaction. Travel for older people is also supported; for example, residents and members also have access to other locations of The Embassies worldwide.
Jan Garde, founder of The Embassies, describes the opening of the first location in Hamburg as an important step in his company's strategy of "bringing places to meet and live together in the world's urban centers". The plan is to roll out the network internationally in the coming years, says Garde: "In view of demographic change, the demand in our segment is great." (bw)
