The Baloise Investment Foundation for Pension Funds is planning a capital increase of up to CHF 80 million for the Real Estate Switzerland (BAPRECH) investment group in the first quarter of 2025. The investment group was launched at the end of March last year and carried out a capital increase of around CHF 20 million with existing investors at the end of November. This increased BAPRECH's total assets to around CHF 130 million. The funds from the new capital increase will be used to acquire an existing portfolio of apartment buildings. According to a press release, these properties have a low rent loss rate and potential to increase earnings. The geographical diversification of the portfolio will also be further advanced. (aw)
