Rolf Schneider new president of BG Brünnen-Eichholz
Rolf Schneider was elected as the new president of the Brünnen-Eichholz Building Cooperative (BG). He succeeds Thomas Balmer, who led the building cooperative for eleven years.

Rolf Schneider is considered to be very well connected in the cooperative scene. He is a member of the board of the umbrella organization of housing cooperatives in Switzerland and vice president of the Bern-Solothurn regional association.
The non-profit building cooperative Brünnen-Eichholz currently has around 1,800 apartments. This makes it one of the ten largest building cooperatives in Switzerland and, according to its own information, the second largest in the Espace Mittelland region. It is currently building apartments on the Warmbächli site (construction site U3) in the city of Bern. It has also recently cleared the hurdle of pre-qualification for the Mutachstrasse site development/ Holligen Nord district park in Bern.
