Zurich: Office Lab opens in Sihlcity

Flexoffice provider Office Lab has opened a new location. The company has been using a total of 1,300 m² of space in a wing of the Sihlcity commercial property since fall 2024. Seven modern conference and event rooms are already in use, with Office Lab cooperating with "The Home" hotel, which can also be reached via the entrance at Kalandergasse 1. The coworking areas, which will cover 450 square meters, are still under construction. According to Roger Krieg, Chairman of Ofice LAB, a total of 50 workspaces will be created by September 2025. A 180 square meter terrace above the Sihlcity courtyard will also be used from the summer. "The Sihlcity Campus ideally complements our presence in Zurich," says Krieg. The location scores with "excellent accessibility, top-class conference rooms and coworking in a trendy space". The Sihlcity complex, which was built on the site of a former paper factory, now comprises a net rental area of almost 100,000 square meters with retail, gastronomy, hotel, culture, entertainment, office and residential uses.

The new Office Lab location is the fourth in Zurich and the eighth in Switzerland. The provider's largest coworking space in Zurich is located in "Baslerpark" in Altstetten with 4,200 sqm of workspace and 18 rooms for meetings and workshops as well as a 220 sqm auditorium. The coworking specialist also has a 1,200 sqm presence in Rieterpark in Zurich/Enge. Further locations can be found in Winterthur, Baden, Spreitenbach and Zug. (aw)
