Vontobel fund buys hotel in Düsseldorf
Portfolio manager Quadoro Doric has acquired the INNSIDE Hotel in Düsseldorf for the open-ended special AIF Vontobel Sustainable Real Estate Europe.
The four-star hotel was built in 2001 according to plans by schneider+schumacher architects. It is located in the office and service district of Düsseldorf-Seestern in the capital of North Rhine-Westphalia. The building has 126 rooms on six floors and is leased to the Spanish hotel group Melía until 2026. The seller is a fund managed by Europa Capital LLP.
The hotel property adds an asset class to the Vontobel Sustainable Real Estate Europe portfolio. According to Quadoro Doric, this leads to greater diversification of the fund and thus contributes to its sustainable development.
