According to Wincasa, Walter Schärer will hand over the management of the property management division to André Töngi, the current head of the Construction & Facility Management division. Schärer, who has been divisional head of property management since 2010, will take on an advisory role in the area of new customer business. He is stepping down from the management team.

Scherer's successor, Töngi, has been active in the real estate industry for over 20 years and has worked for Wincasa since 2013. In 2014, he was appointed to the Executive Board as Head of Construction & Facility Management.

Töngi's successor in her previous position will be Karin Voigt, who also joins the real estate service provider's management team. She has been with Wincasa since 2010 and has been regional head of builder's trust since 2014.

The new appointments were made primarily with a focus on strengthening new customer business as well as improving the quality and further developing existing business areas and customer relationships, the company says. "It is important that we find a good mix between consistency and the tried and tested as well as fresh wind and new ideas in the transformation in which the market and also Wincasa currently find themselves. This also applies to the management team," says Oliver Hofmann, CEO of the company, explaining the changes.
