Kameha Grand Zurich: New management
Board members Peter Mettler, Chairman of LH&E Management AG, and Carsten K. Rath hand over the management of the Kameha Grand Zurich to General Manager Roland Rhyner and Director of Finance Benedikt Theisen.

The Kameha Grand Zurich is entering 2017 with a new management team. Carsten K. Rath, founder of Kameha Grand Hotels & Resorts and the parent company LH&E Management AG, handed over the management of the Kameha Grand Zurich to the management duo Roland Rhyner and Benedikt Theisen on March 1, 2017. Together with Peter Mettler, Rath intends to focus on strategic work as a member of the Board of Directors in future.
Roland Rhyner has been General Manager of the Kameha Grand Zurich since 2016 and will be responsible for the operational management, while Benedikt Theisen will take over the financial management.
Break-even reached after two years
According to the company, the lifestyle hotel, which will officially be two years old in August 2017, will soon break even. "The cake in Zurich certainly hasn't gotten any bigger, but we've cut ourselves a decent slice and gained significant market share against the market trend," says Peter Mettler.
The change in Zurich is similar to the handover at the Kameha Suite in Frankfurt, which opened in 2008, and the Kameha Grand Bonn, which opened in 2009. There, too, Mettler as Chairman and Rath concentrated on his work as a member of the Board of Directors of the parent company LH&E Management AG.
The LH&E Group is an operating and management company of Kameha Grand Hotels & Resorts. Kameha operates and manages international lifestyle hotels, luxury resorts, private design residences and event catering. Founder and CEO is Carsten K. Rath, President of the Board of Directors is Peter Mettler. The LH&E Group's first hotel, the Kameha Grand Bonn, has won numerous national and international awards.
