Basler Leben completes acquisition of Pax Anlage
Basler Leben AG completed the acquisition of Pax Anlage AG announced in January on March 31. As a result, the company, which is part of the Baloise Group, now holds around 70 percent of the real estate company.
The previous majority shareholders of Pax Anlage AG, Pax Holding (Genossenschaft) and PAX Schweizerische Lebensversicherungs-Gesellschaft AG, completed the sale of their shareholding to Basler Leben AG on March 31, 2017.
Nürnberger Lebensversicherung also disposed of its shares in Pax Anlage, which were also acquired by Basler Leben. As a result, the company now holds 70.96 percent of all outstanding shares in Pax Anlage.
Previously, as announced, Pax Anlage had sold all shares of its subsidiary Pax Verwaltungen AG to PAX Schweizerische Lebensversicherungs-Gesellschaft AG.
