"With the capital increase, we are taking into account the continued strong demand from pension funds for investment opportunities in solid real estate in Switzerland that offers long-term income security," says Dunja Schwander, Managing Director of Helvetia Investment Foundation. The subscription period is scheduled to run from May 10 to June 7, 2017, and the capital increase will be carried out at the net asset value as of the settlement date.

Helvetia Investment Foundation's Real Estate Switzerland investment group was launched in autumn 2012 and has since invested around CHF 400 million in mainly residential and mixed-use properties in economically strong locations in Switzerland. According to the investment foundation, the market value of the completed buildings increased by more than CHF 125 million in the last two years. Acquisitions amounting to CHF 120 million are currently under consideration.
