Mall of Switzerland: 75 percent of the space has been let
A good six months before the opening of the Mall of Switzerland in Ebikon near Lucerne, around 75 percent of the retail space has been leased. Negotiations are underway for a further 20 percent, according to the project managers.

New tenants of the mall include the British shoe label "Vivobarefoot", the Swiss toy retailer "Spielkiste" and the local retailer "Presentini".
The "Vivobarefoot" store in the Mall of Switzerland will be the company's first store in Switzerland. So far, the English company, which produces and sells barefoot shoes, operates 20 concept stores, mainly in European cities. The "Spielkiste" is considered the leading Swiss specialty store for games and leisure. The family business is based in Tenniken (BL) and currently operates ten stores in German-speaking Switzerland. The local retailer "Presentini" has gifts, wines, spirits and delicatessen on offer.
In the food service sector, labels such as Joe & The Juice, WonderWaffle and SUC+ will also be represented, as well as the McDonald's, Nooch and Desperados chains, plus gourmet concepts from the region.
The Mall of Switzerland is scheduled to open on November 8, 2017. With 65,000 sqm of total leasable area, the mall will be the second largest shopping and leisure center in Switzerland when completed. The shopping center has its own train and bus stop, a highway feeder road leading directly to the parking garage, and a large bicycle parking hall. The concept combines around 150 stores and restaurants with leisure and sports facilities.
