CUREM's part-time Master of Advanced Studies (MAS) in Real Estate program is a continuing education program for professionals and managers in the real estate industry. It has been offered for more than ten years, and now CUREM has fundamentally revised the curriculum for the 2018/19 course.

The course is now divided into three parts and nine modules. In the first part on the topic of "space," students are taught basic knowledge of the relationships between human needs, space, investment and construction markets, mobility and regulations. This is intended to lay the foundation for understanding value creation in space, CUREM informs.

The second part, entitled "Property," shows how value creation is optimized over the entire real estate life cycle, from project development and portfolio management to transactions.

The third part, entitled "Portfolio", deals with real estate portfolios in various investment forms. Graduates should learn how to allocate resources optimally and interact with a wide range of players. This third part is divided into the modules Portfolio Management, Investment Management and Urban Management.

The curriculum continues to focus on the Swiss real estate market, but increasingly integrates international topics, according to CUREM. To this end, the course is supplemented by a one-week study visit to the renowned London School of Economics.

The MAS Real Estate is aimed at professionals from the fields of economics, law, architecture, construction and spatial planning.
