Ceneri Base Tunnel opened

The final section of the NRLA, the Ceneri Base Tunnel, was opened on September 4. Together with the Gotthard and Lötschberg base tunnels, the new mountain underpass is considered the centerpiece of the most important rail corridor between the North Sea and the Mediterranean.
