Drees & Sommer reports revenue growth
Drees & Sommer generated revenue of around 335 million euros in 2016, 34 million more than in the previous year. The operating result increased to just under 42 million.

Drees & Sommer SE increased its consolidated revenue by eleven percent year-on-year in 2016. Operating profit rose by twelve percent to €41.7 million (previous year: €37.1 million).
The main contribution to sales and earnings continues to be made by the design and construction business, the company says. The positive development was also supported by corresponding mergers with a focus on workplace consulting and technical construction management in Germany, Switzerland and Austria.
Drees & Sommer is expanding its real estate consulting and process consulting activities through cooperation with the German analysis company bulwiengesa. In mid-May 2017, the company also acquired Procore, which operates in the UK and the Netherlands in the fields of facility management consulting, workplace consulting, and tenant management.
Drees & Sommer describes the conversion of Drees & Sommer AG into a European public limited company (SE), completed at the beginning of May 2017, as an important milestone. This promotes the international orientation of the company's organization, according to the company. "On this basis, we are well positioned for the future, particularly in the international context," says CEO Peter Tzeschlock.
