Geneva: Residential property changes hands for nearly 40 million
The real estate agency m3 Real Estate has sold a property in the Geneva municipality of Cologny for CHF 39.5 million. The transaction is considered one of the largest in recent years in the Geneva market.
The property is located on Quai de Cologny in Geneva. It has about 1,000 square meters of living space, six bedrooms with associated bathrooms, a fitness room and a cinema. Outside, the property has its own tennis court and an outdoor pool with pool house. The property covers a total of 8,000 sqm and offers views of Lake Geneva and the Jet d'Eau.
m3 Real Estate believes that the purchase price for the luxury property of 39.5 million is the highest since the beginning of 2017. In the Geneva real estate market, only a few houses have been sold for a higher sum of money in recent years, it said. The deal was also completed in a record time of 15 days, the company says.
The real estate agency m3 is headquartered in Geneva and has been operating a branch office in Zurich at Bahnhofplatz since January 2017.
