Deka loan fund buys financing for office property in Milan

The Deka Realkredit Klassik credit fund has acquired a first-ranking tranche of a commercial real estate loan in the amount of twelve million euros from DekaBank. The tranche is part of a financing arrangement granted by DekaBank for the purchase of the Class A office property "Pirelli" in Milan.

The building is located in Milan's established Bicocca office market, which is situated on the northern outskirts of the metropolis and has good public transport connections. The five-storey property was built in 2009 and has a total rental area of around 14,700 sqm as well as 151 underground parking spaces.

With this purchase, the fund has already acquired its second financing for a property in Milan this year. According to Deka, the northern Italian city is an attractive financing market due to its above-average economic strength compared to other European economic centers, where very attractive margins are currently still being paid.
