Halter AG: Building application for RhyTech quarter submitted
Halter AG as the project developer and 3A Technology & Management AG as the landowner have submitted the planning application for the RhyTech quarter in Neuhausen am Rheinfall.
According to the initiators, "another milestone has been reached in the transformation from an industrial area to an open neighborhood. The building application will be available from today (November 3, 2017) for 30 days at the municipality's building department. With a legally binding building permit, construction is expected to start in late fall 2018. Occupation is planned for 2021.
On the former industrial area, around 270 rental and owner-occupied apartments for families, couples and singles are being built in an angular perimeter block development and two high-rise buildings. The project was designed by the Peter Märkli architectural studio. The two high-rise buildings are to have 17 and 24 floors, respectively. The corresponding construction spans have already been marked out.
The building application for the RhyTech Quarter is based on the planning framework of the legally binding neighborhood plan. Halter's project managers expect the building permit to be issued in the spring of 2018. Once this becomes legally effective, the preparatory work will begin immediately.
