New tourism department for Disentis
Bergbahnen Disentis AG plans to invest a total of CHF 90 million in a new holiday resort, a link with the Sedrun-Andermatt ski arena and new snow-making facilities.

Around CHF 60 million will be spent on the resort; six new buildings with apartments and hotel rooms are planned on the car park near the valley station.
The project, which is expected to generate around 30,000 overnight stays per year, is located local media reports according to the construction plans. The necessary rezonings are to be voted on at the beginning of October. If everything goes according to plan, the projects can be realized in the next three to five years.
