The only five-star hotel in Flims has one of the largest hotel parks in Switzerland with 200,000 square meters. The announcement of the bankruptcy at the beginning of April had made high waves. The Flims community board said it was worried about the entire tourist resort. The Waldhaus was even described as system-relevant for the tourism region.

Since the bankruptcy of the luxury hotel, a rescue company has been running the business. It has leased the hotel from the insolvency authority. Whether the Waldhaus will be auctioned off or bought by an interested party beforehand is still open. The trade newspaper "hotel revue" reports that about 40 investors are interested in buying the hotel. (ah)
