Benedikt Koch (44) has headed the Infra trade association office for eight years. In addition to a profound knowledge of the association's work and the Swiss association landscape, Koch has several years of experience in the construction industry and an academic background: He trained at the ETH Zurich to become a Dipl. Ing. ETH and earned his doctorate in Dr. sc. techn.

He then worked for several years as assistant to the CEO of Batigroup Holding AG and as project manager at Implenia Bau AG.

Benedikt Koch will take up his new position on May 1, 2016. His predecessor Daniel Lehmann will step down after 15 years as head of the directorate due to age. The repositioning and modernization of the association, which took place around the 2000s, was largely due to Daniel Lehmann, who holds a doctorate in law, writes SBC in a media release. (ah)
