Hälg honored as Entrepreneur of the Year
Hälg Buildings Services Group has won the "Entrepreneur of the Year 2015" competition in the Industry/High-Tech/Life Sciences category. The award is presented by EY.
The competition initiated by EY has an international focus. Comparable award ceremonies are held in more than 60 countries each fall.
The Hälg Group from St. Gallen is active throughout Switzerland as a construction services provider and specializes in the field of building services engineering with heating, ventilation, air conditioning, refrigeration and sanitary installations. The brothers Roger and Marcel Baumer are the fourth generation to head the group of companies. They are pursuing an expansion strategy and have developed the traditional plant engineering company into a full-service provider for building technology systems.
Group currently employs 890 people at 19 locations in Switzerland and generated sales of CHF 298 million in 2014. The Hälg Group includes Hälg Holding AG, Hälg & Co. AG, Klima AG, Zahn + Co. AG, Hälg Facility Management AG, Brunner Haustechnik AG and GOAG General Optimizing AG. (ah)
