Riverside Zuchwil: Itema commits to the site
The Swiss Prime Investment Foundation (SPA) and Itema (Switzerland) Ltd, formerly Sulzer Textil, have extended the existing lease for the long term. The Italian weaving machine manufacturer will invest up to ten million CHF in new facilities and logistics at the Riverside Zuchwil site over the next two years.

Swiss Prime Site acquired the Riverside Zuchwil site in 2012 and incorporated it into the portfolio of the SPA Immobilien Schweiz investment group of the Swiss Prime Investment Foundation.
As before, the SPA also wants to use the site for commercial purposes, and apartments are also planned. In September, a study contract for the 170,000 square meter site was completed. The study by the architectural firm KCAP led by Kees Christiaanse was recommended for further development. (ah)
