Swisscanto buys in Uzwil
At the beginning of January 2016, Swisscanto acquired the property Bahnhofstrasse 82 in Uzwil (SG) for the Swisscanto (CH) Real Estate Fund Swiss Commercial.
The building was newly constructed in 2010 and is located in an attractive business location in the center of Uzwil. According to Swisscanto, it is a mixed-use property with retail space, a fitness center, office space and a smaller proportion of apartments. The office space on the third floor is to be converted into small apartments.
The total investment costs amount to CHF 14.55 million, excluding the planned conversion. Swisscanto puts the resulting gross yield at 5.65 percent. (ah)
