A total of around 4,500 beds are to be realized in up-and-coming and established resorts in the immediate vicinity of mountain railroads, chairlifts and ski lifts. With these projects, Interhome and the Mountain Resorts Real Estate Fund want to meet the booming demand for vacation apartments with a good price-performance ratio.

The first two resorts under the "Swiss Peak Resorts" brand, each with 500 beds, will be built in Vercorin and Morgins in the canton of Valais from spring 2016 and are scheduled for completion in December 2017. According to press reports, the fund has already collected CHF 60 million from institutional investors for this purpose. The other eight resorts are being built in Valais, Bernese Oberland and Ticino, as well as in Graubünden. The resorts each consist of two to four building units and are to have a recognizable, functional architectural style. (ah)
