Media report: CS plans investment fund for mortgages

According to the plans, of which Finance and economy reports, for the time being only mortgages for investment properties issued by the unit for Swiss corporate clients (Corporate and Institutional Clients) will be outsourced. Accordingly, in the fall, CS intends to sell a mortgage portfolio of around CHF 500 million to an investment fund under Swiss law, which will be open to institutional investors.

Finance and economy reports further that the idea of such a fund has already been presented to around 20 Swiss pension funds and insurance companies, where it has met with interest. (ah)
