Jufa plans 200-bed hotel in Wildhaus
The first adventure hotel of the Austrian Jufa Group in Switzerland is being built in Wildhaus (SG). The three-star hotel with around 200 beds is scheduled to start operations in 2019. The project developer and investor is the ITW Group in Balzers, Liechtenstein.

The hotel with adventure center is to be built in Wildhaus, in the Lisighaus district, near the valley station of the Wildhaus-Oberdorf chairlift. The central part is the hotel with around 70 rooms and more than 200 beds, as well as a restaurant and bistro. Indoor play areas, a bowling alley, a large wellness area with a water experience world, a multi-purpose hall for sports, games and events as well as several seminar rooms will be available not only to hotel guests but also to the public.
According to Martin Meyer, Chairman of the ITW Group, the total investment volume will be around CHF 20 million. A project ready for construction should be available next year.
The target group of the Jufa Hotel are families and clubs. The Graz-based group now operates over 50 Jufa Hotels in several countries. What all the hotels have in common is that they are aimed at families and clubs and each has a wellness and experience section tailored to the region. In Wildhaus, the experience section is to be dedicated to the Toggenburg theme of sound. (ah)
