Migros Aare wants to expand logistics center in Moosseedorf
Migros Aare wants to expand its logistics capacities. The expansion of the infrastructure facilities at the current Moosseedorf/Schönbühl site is being examined, but according to Migros, a new building at another site in the cooperative area is also conceivable.
A suitable parcel of land with an area of around 12,000 sqm adjoins the existing Migros properties in Moosseedorf to the southeast. The piece of land is located between the highway and the railroad line, but still needs to be zoned. The municipality has initiated a participation procedure in which the necessary changes to zoning plans, building regulations and superstructure ordinances are shown.
Migros Aare will make its final decision on the location at the beginning of 2017 at the earliest. What is certain is that the expansion of the infrastructure facilities in the Moosseedorf/Schönbühl area would take place in stages. The investment volume will amount to around CHF 100 million. (ah)
