Basel: ASAG builds new headquarters in Dreispitz
ASAG Auto-Service AG, a Fritz Meyer Holding company, is building a new company headquarters on the Dreispitz site in Basel. This will be the largest car dealership in north-western Switzerland.

ASAG is investing CHF 38 million in the conversion and expansion of the existing site on the Dreispitz - making it the largest construction project in the company's history.
With the start of construction on May 17, 2016, the site at Reinacherstrasse 149-153 will be redesigned in stages. The most striking changes are the demolition or dismantling of existing buildings with subsequent reconstruction and an extension of two floors. Overall, ASAG is increasing the gross floor area from 17,200 to 28,700 square meters. New, independent worlds of experience are being created for the Audi, Seat and Škoda brands, as well as larger workshops and a new bodywork and paint department.
With 460 employees and a turnover of CHF 230 million, Asag is one of the largest automotive groups in north-western Switzerland. In addition to agencies in Basel, Liestal, Pratteln, Reinach and Rheinfelden, Asag also has branches in the German border region: in Bad Säckingen, Binzen, Lörrach and Rheinfelden (D). (ah)
