Bolligen examines sale of the Flugbrunnen site
The sale of the Flugbrunnen site in Bolligen (BE) is currently being discussed. As the school there is leaving the site in the summer, it is available for development. According to the municipality's plans, apartments and administrative offices are to be built there.

The Bollig municipal assembly will decide on June 7 whether the site should be sold to an investor or handed over on a building lease. According to media reports, the sale would bring in around CHF 14 million.
The background to the sale plans is the municipality's deficit of around CHF 8.3 million. The reason for the deficit is the restructuring of the ailing Bolligen-Ittigen-Ostermundigen (BIO) pension fund, where Bolligen has to contribute CHF 9.8 million. With the sale of the Flugbrunnen site, the restructuring of the pension fund could be absorbed in one fell swoop. With the building rights levy, the proceeds would be somewhat lower and it would take longer to reduce the deficit. (ah)
