HEV Zurich elects new board

The delegates' meeting of the Homeowners' Association of the Canton of Zurich (HEV) has elected Cantonal Councillor Dr. Josef Wiederkehr as the new board member. Wiederkehr replaces Hansruedi Schneider, who is stepping down for age reasons after 16 years on the board.

CVP politician Josef Wiederkehr (born 1970) was elected to the Zurich Cantonal Council for the Dietikon constituency in 2005 and has been a member of the Planning and Building Commission (KPB) since August 2006. Since July 2015, Wiederkehr has also been Chairman of the Cantonal Council's Housing and Real Estate Group (W&G).

HEV President Hans Egloff was unanimously confirmed in office. The previous board members were also all re-elected: In addition to Vice President Gregor Rutz, these are Hans-Ulrich Bigler (Affoltern a.A.), Max Clerici (Horgen), Markus Dudler (Erlenbach), Andreas Federer (Thalwil), Jean-Luc Cornaz (Winkel) and Hans Heinrich Raths (Pfäffikon ZH).

Founded in 1920 as an association, the Homeowners Association of the Canton of Zurich has over 75,000 members and is divided into 24 local sections. (ah)
