Comfort: New Managing Director "Luxury Retail
Since July 1, Massimiliano Baroni has been Managing Director "Luxury Retail" at Comfort High Streets Swiss AG in Zurich. In the newly created position, he is responsible for the leasing and consulting of international luxury brands in the DACH region.
Massimiliano Baroni (36) most recently worked for Daniel Swarovski Corporation in Männedorf for seven years. Initially, he held leading positions in merchandising and architectural rollout, and since 2013 he has been responsible for the strategic and operational development of the global store network of 2,600 boutiques as Director Global Retail Real Estate.
Previously, the Italian, who grew up in Germany, gained experience in marketing and retail management at the Austrian lingerie supplier Wolford. In Bregenz, he was responsible for Assortment Editing, Stock Management and Customer Service. Baroni began his professional career in 1999 at the Italian premium womenswear supplier Tandem & Transit from Vicenza. (ah)
