Arlesheim: Office and commercial space for Schorenareal
Stamm Bau AG and uptownBasel AG want to realize a superstructure with office and commercial buildings on the Schorenareal in Arlesheim. To this end, the two companies are acquiring a site of just under 60,000 sqm from the canton of Basel-Landschaft.
According to the development concept drawn up by Stamm Bau and uptown Basel, several multifunctional buildings are to be built in stages. In the final stage, around 40,000 square meters of office and commercial space are to be realized.
Within two years after transfer of ownership, the purchaser must submit a building permit application for the first construction phase for buildings with a gross floor area of around 10,000. Within one year of receiving the legally valid building permit, the buyers are to start construction work and complete it quickly, the canton informs. To secure this obligation, the canton has a right of repurchase.
The Schorenareal in Arlesheim covers 150,000 square meters and is located in the commercial zone of the municipality of Arlesheim. Commercial buildings with up to four full stories and a building height of 18 meters can be realized on the site. (ah)
