HIAG buys in western Switzerland
HIAG Immobilien AG acquires Village 52 SA, which owns the former Leclanché production site in Yverdon-les-Bains (VD).
The site, with an area of 19,800 sqm and around 17,000 sqm of usable space, consists of eleven buildings which were refurbished after the closure of production and are now occupied by a high-quality and broadly diversified tenant base. The annualized property income amounts to CHF 1.5 million, with 82 percent of the space currently leased.
The site is located next to the A5 freeway junction near the center of Yverdon-les-Bains and is easily accessible by public transport.
HIAG Immobilien sees the site in western Switzerland as a "very good addition" to its portfolio in terms of its structure and location. The company currently owns sites at around 40 locations with a total area of 2.6 million sqm of land. (ah)
