Lucerne: Implenia to build "Mattenhof II
Implenia is acting as general contractor for the Mattenhof II residential and commercial building, which is part of Mobimo's Mikropole-Mattenhof, Lucerne South development. Construction is scheduled to start in January 2017.
Mattenhof II" will feature 6,000 square meters of commercial and office space as well as 146 rental apartments. The project by Mobimo and an investment group of Credit Suisse Investment Foundation as investor was designed by Schärli Architekten from Lucerne.
The development has an energy network of groundwater and geothermal probes with central energy supply, follows the SIA energy efficiency path for the implementation of the 2000-watt society and is aiming for Minergie certification. The investment volume amounts to around CHF 60 million. The work is scheduled to be completed by spring 2019. (ah)
