Verit takes over management of Raiffeisen funds

Verit Investment Management AG took over the fund management function for the Raiffeisen Futura Immo Fund from Swisscanto Fondsleitung AG on April 1, 2017. It manages this real estate fund exclusively and does not act as fund management company for any other funds.

Verit Investment Management AG has "extensive real estate experience and fund expertise," according to a Raiffeisen media release. Verit was involved in the launch of the fund at the beginning of 2014 and has since been responsible for portfolio and asset management for the real estate fund. It will continue to do so, according to the press release. The delegation of asset management will thus no longer apply.

According to its own information, the fund invests at least 60 percent in residential properties. For diversification reasons, investments in mixed-use buildings and commercial properties are also possible. The fund makes investments throughout Switzerland and aims for "optimal regional diversification of the real estate markets." All rental price segments (except luxury) in the residential sector, as well as mixed-use and also commercial properties are eligible as property types.

Most recently, the Raiffeisen Futura Immo Fund acquired two apartment buildings in Zwingen (BL) in March 2017.
