SSN Group: New Managing Director for Germany

The Swiss group of companies is thus "setting the course for upcoming expansions of the portfolio and the project development business in German metropolises," SSN Group writes in a media release. Jürgen Overath has been active in the real estate business for more than 25 years and is considered a proven expert in real estate, portfolio and asset management.

Previously, the 53-year-old worked, among other things, as managing director at Corpus Sireo Immobiliengruppe and was a board member at DIC Asset and DO Deutsche Office AG. Overath will devote himself in particular to the expansion of the project business, the statement continues. The new head of Germany will report directly to Michael Tockweiler, CEO of SSN Group.

At the end of February, the Group had announced the acquisition of the luxury residential project "The Wilhelm" in Berlin near the Brandenburg Gate.

The independent group of companies employs 200 people and operates as a real estate project developer with a focus on major German cities and Switzerland. Since its foundation in 2004, a volume of more than EUR 7.5 billion has been realized. Currently, SSN Group is preparing projects with a volume of EUR 1.1 billion. The growth of the project pipeline is planned for the coming years with a total volume of more than EUR 3 billion.
