The building, which was constructed in 1975, is located in the center of Turku, Finland's largest city with 190,000 inhabitants, and is characterized by excellent transport links and good public infrastructure, says portfolio manager Quadoro Doric.

According to the announcement, the property has a leasable area of 10,180 sqm spread over four floors and a basement. The ground and basement floors contain stores, while the upper floors house a gym, a clinic and office units. In addition, the property has 203 parking spaces in an adjacent parking garage.

Quadoro Doric did not provide details of the seller or the purchase price.

This is the second time that Vontobel Sustainable Real Estate Europe has invested in Finland. As recently as February, the fund had acquired a residential and commercial building in Helsinki. (ah)
